Historical tour of Cochin

You will be accompanied by your English speaking city guide during this tour. Stroll through Fort Cochin, where you can walk among the historic Dutch and Portuguese buildings. Some parts of this nearly 500-year-old fort are still remarkably well preserved. In the Mattancherry district, Mattancherry Palace was built in the middle of the 16th century by the Portuguese. Visit St. Francis Church, the Dutch cemetery, Santa Cruz Basilica and the colorful streets. At the port you can still see the unique "Chinese fishing nets", which were used by the Chinese fishermen in the 14th century.
